Slice pears thinly however you like.
Soak the slices in the port for about 1/2 hour.
Heat butter in pan on med-high heat.
Add the pear slices to pan when the butter is hot.
Dash pears with cinnamon
Brown pears on both sides
When pears are cooked, add the soaking port to the pan and light on FIRE for exciting flare that will make you the star of the party (just don't light yourself, anyone else, or the kitchen on fire - this will decrease your party ranking significantly)
if there is any fluid left in the pan, drizzle on top of the served pears. Or, add more port! |
